Accommodations and Layout
The cockpit, salon, galley, and master stateroom are all on the same level. You enter the salon from the cockpit through double sliding glass doors. The galley is open to the salon and enjoys views of the cockpit and the outdoors. Forward is the master stateroom to port located in the center of the boat for comfort and quiet underway. On the starboard is a day bed and extensive storage for cruising. Further forward and down two steps is a spacious 3 bunk stateroom with full head and shower.
Across from the galley is a spiral stairway leading up to the enclosed pilothouse. There you will find a double bed and built in sofa that converts to a single bunk, along with two helm chairs, large chart table, and the main electronics consoles. This area offers 360 degree views in air-conditioned comfort while underway or at anchor. Walking out the door to the back deck you will find dingy storage to port and another day bed to starboard. There is a backward helm console for backing down the boat with engine and thruster controls for fishing or docking. You climb up to the Bucket from the boat deck. The bucket will seat three people and affords a total view of the horizon as well as the boat below. There are total engine controls, thruster, VHF radio, autopilot, and a 9” TZ touch Navnet chart plotter and depth sounder.
Returning to the main deck level, there is a large hinged hatch in the galley floor which leads to the forward bilge area which has 5’ headroom and a hugh amount of storage. You will find a 4 foot chest freezer, apartment size washer and dryer, central vac unit, watermaker, and approximately 50 cubic feet of storage area with pull out shelves perfect for fishing gear, food, and spare parts.

A Note from the Captain
The Ozzy is small enough for a couple to go to Catalina for a weekend or large enough for six guys to go to Mag Bay and fish for a week. She has cruised the Sea of Cortez for weeks at a time with guests on board in air conditioned comfort without stoping for supplies or fuel. It is a boat designed to go to remote places in comfort and safety before there were marinas and Costco’s. Currently fitted with modern engines, generators , and electronics she is ready to go.
